We Need to Talk about Israel (Virtually)! | June 11 Update
What interests young Jewish minds today? Plus—Meet two young, energetic entrepreneurs from the Start Up Nation and learn how they are faring during COVID-19. We’re curating virtual content from national and local experts on everything Israel.

During the coronavirus pandemic, the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati remains committed to helping our community engage with Israel. While we cannot gather as we normally would for our We Need to Talk series this year, we are offering some online programs to continue the conversation. Also, we want to share some programs about Israel, hosted by our national partner organizations, which you might also find interesting. So whether you are at home, strolling through the park, or connecting with friends via Zoom, dig into the discussion with us!

Here are a couple of webinars we’re looking forward to:

Thursday, June 18: What are the topics that interest young Jewish minds today, and how can we best engage millennial and Gen-Z Jewry in order to bring them into the conversation about Israel and other Jewish issues? Listen in to “Talking to Younger Generations About Tough Issues.”

Monday, June 22: What does it mean to be an Israeli entrepreneur? And how does that look different within the current challenges of COVID-19? Join us to “Meet Young Entrepreneurs from Israel,” Adis Mekonen and Nathanael Reicher, two young and energetic entrepreneurs from our partnership city of Netanya who have found their unique niche in the bourgeoning startup marketplace.

You can register for any of the events above simply by clicking on the hyperlink with the title.

In addition to these, there are plenty of other opportunities to learn something new. Check out the full calendar of virtual offerings, all related to the work of the JCRC.

We hope you and your family are healthy and well, and we look forward to a time we can gather and have these conversations in person.
