Curbside pickup details!
Please review our procedures!

Great news! Beginning Wednesday, May 27, 2020 the library will be offering curbside pickup!  Here's how it will work:

  • You can request items 3 different ways.  Beginning on Wednesday, we will be answering our phones, so you can just give us a call to make your request.  You may also email us at:    In addition, you may request items by going to our website and clicking on the "catalog" tab.  You will need your library card number and your PIN for this option.
  • Once you have made your request, please allow a minimum of three (3) business hours (currently Monday through Friday, 9 am until 4:30 pm beginning 5/27/20) for your request(s) to be filled.  For those using our online catalog, requested items will be available after 10:30 am the following day, excluding holds.
  • After the processing time has elapsed, arrive at the library in your vehicle (no walk-ups) and call us at 270-692-4698 and let staff know you have arrived to pick up your book requests.  Please refrain from requesting additional materials to add to your current order.
  • While waiting for staff to deliver your order, please open the trunk/hatch of your vehicle and get back in your car.  Staff will not exit the building if you are standing outside of your vehicle.  Staff will deposit your order into your trunk and you will close your trunk.
  • This will be a pick-up station only!  To return items, please proceed to the book drop in the exit drive and deposit them there.  This keeps incoming and outgoing items completely separate.

That's it!  We are looking forward to offering this service.  Please bear with us, we know we will most certainly run into a few kinks along the way, but we are determined to work those kinks out!  Your patience is appreciated!
