Ohio Primary Voting by mail extended through April 28, 2020
You must submit an absentee vote-by-mail application by 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 25, 2020 to receive a ballot in the mail.

Ohio’s 2020 primary election has been changed to an all-mail vote, through April 28, to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus.

From the Clermont County Board of Elections website:

  • Ohio’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic includes the elimination of in-person polling place voting for the 2020 primary election.
  • The General Assembly has set April 28th as the final day of the 2020 Primary Election.
  • Voting by mail has been extended through April 28, 2020.
  • The extension is only for voters who have not yet cast a ballot in the 2020 Primary Election.

From the Clermont County Board of Elections: "Primary election absentee ballot applications must be received not later than noon on April 25, 2020."
