West Chester Police limit reporting procedures
New procedures will limit the personal contact and possible exposure of citizens and officers during the COVID-19 outbreak.

In an effort to reduce communal spread of the COVID-19 virus, the West Chester Police Department is implementing limited reporting procedures.

These procedures will limit the personal contact and possible exposure of our citizens and officers during this outbreak.

What does this mean for residents and stakeholders?

  • Officers will continue to respond to all crimes in progress and crimes of violence.
  • Officers will take a report over the phone for non-violent property crimes and crimes that are not in progress.
  • All station tours, public education and events like the Citizen Police Academy, job related fingerprinting, and scout tours have been canceled.

If you need assistance or have any questions please call the West Chester Police non-emergency number at 513-777-2231.
