Go Paperless with Your Utility Bills and You Could Win
From now until April 30th every Hamilton Utilities customer who has gone paperless or signed up for AutoPay will be automatically entered to win an Amazon gift card.

If you haven’t heard by now, Hamilton is offers an online utility bill pay service, UtilityPay. With UtilityPay, you can opt to go paperless and receive your monthly utility bill through email. The benefits of going paperless include the convenience of having quicker access to your bills, being able to view them anywhere and at any time, and helping the environment by using less paper. If you elect to go paperless, you can always print out a copy of your bill or invoice, if needed.


As an added incentive, from now through April 30, you can enter to win one of 10 $50 Amazon gift cards. Every utility customer can earn two entries: one for registering for AutoPay and one for going paperless. Customers who do either of these things will automatically be entered into the giveaway. Once you are logged in to the UtilityPay portal you can use either of the guides found below to go paperless and/or register for AutoPay.

To go paperless, use this four-step guide to help you get started. Below you will find step by step instructions on how to go paperless and sign up for AutoPay.


Please note: any customer who is already signed up for AutoPay or paperless billing will be automatically entered into this contest.


How to go paperless with your utility bills.

1) Once in the UtilityPay Customer Portal, under My Profile, select Paperless or click Paperless on the Customer Portal Dashboard.

2) On the Paperless setup screen, select yes and save my changes. Once changes are saved, the status will display Resend/Cancel Pending Registration

3) You will be sent a confirmation email with a link to complete the paperless registration. The email will be similar to the email below

4) Click Complete Registration to complete your paperless registration




How to sign up for AutoPay

1) To register for AutoPay in the Customer Portal, Click My Profile and select AutoPay

or Click AutoPay on the Customer Portal Dashboard

2) On the AutoPay setup, select New AutoPay Setup

3) Complete the AutoPay setup by selecting the account, payment method, and invoice type when applicable. Select "Yes, put me on AutoPay" and save the setup

4) The AutoPay Status will display "Waiting on email confirmation". The user has the ability to resend or cancel the pending registration when needed

5) The user must click on the link in the email confirmation notice to complete the registration. An example of the link is below
