Applications Being Accepted for Hamilton's Tax Review Board

The City of Hamilton’s Tax Review Board is looking for two community members to serve on the Tax Review Board. While the board does not regularly meet, candidates should be available to meet during the workday when the board is convened. 

The Local Board of Tax Review, or Tax Review Board, is established by Ohio Revised Code Section 718.11. The purpose of the Board is to hear appeals of any taxpayer within the City that has been issued an assessment or decisions of the Tax Administrator. To qualify for an appointment to the Board, applicants have a strong background with income taxes and must meet the qualifications as specified in ORC Section 718.11 which can be found in the application.
