Test Help!
Did you know that you can practice for the AP, PSAT, ACT, SAT and more exams on your PC at home?

Did you know that you can practice AP, PSAT, ACT, SAT and more exams on your PC at home?  I've used the online tests to help my daughter study for the ACT and she brought her scores up!

To utilize these fantastic resources, do the following:

  • Visit our website,
  • From here, hover over "Research & Discover"
  • Choose "Online Resources"

This will take you to the Kentucky Virtual Library, a website with a wealth of information for you to use.

  • Once you arrive here:
  • Click the plus (+) sign next to "Databases"
  • Click on "Learning Express"
  • Choose the first option you see when you scroll down, "College Admissions Test Preparation"

The next screen will allow you to choose the test for which you are studying.  The subsequent pages for each test offer preparation/study materials, as well as a variety of practice tests.  For example, if your or your child's scores are only being weighed down by the math portion of the ACT,  you can take four different practice tests just for that subject.

Good luck to you and/or your children!  I know taking these tests can be stressful and anything that can help reduce that stress is helpful.

Learning Express and the other resources through KYVL are just a few of the services available to you from the Marion County Public Library.
