Lakeshore Golf Course Development Timeline

The City of Oshkosh has scheduled a joint Parks Advisory Board and Plan Commission workshop and a public input session for next week to review and collect input on the draft concept plans and possible sale of part of (approx. 30 acres) Lakeshore Golf Course to Oshkosh Corporation.The joint Parks Advisory Board and Plan Commission workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, October 4 at 5 p.m. at the Oshkosh Convention Center in the Leander Choate Room. During this meeting, a presentation of the draft concept plans will be given by land planning consultants Houseal and Lavigne.


Following the presentation, the board and commission will have a question and answer period. The public will have the opportunity to view the draft concepts and provide input as well. A second public input session will take place on Thursday, October 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Oshkosh Convention Center in the Leander Choate room. This open house‐style session will give the public a chance to review and provide feedback for the draft concept plans and the possible sale of part of the golf course.  


In addition to viewing the concept plans and providing feedback at the meetings this week, the public can also view/provide input via the city website at www.ci.oshkosh.wi.us. Concept plans, the proposal timeline, and a public comment form are available on the city’s website under the “Hot Topics” section of the homepage.
