Session 2 Art Classes - Now Includes Intro to Framework and Digital Photography

The sun is out and it is time to jump into spring with some new activities.  It's the perfect time to try art classes with ArtsConnect.  

Adults, ages 14 and older, can enjoy painting, drawing, watercolors, ceramic hand building (pottery), woodshop, stained glass, digital photography, fundamentals of framing, private music lessons (piano and band instruments) and various workshops.  Workshops include printmaking (March 5), Art and Wine (April 24) and Cabinet & Furniture Makeovers (May 4).

Children, as young as 4 have opportunities to be creative too. Families can find information about teen woodshop, Kids painting & drawing, Kids Sewing, Kids ceramic hand building, Pint-size Picassos, private music lessons (piano and band), and the Lollipop Music class on the ArtsConnect website.  Learn from very experience teaching artists and musicians who will help to develop and enhance the techniques they want to learn. 


New classes this session include Introduction to Framing and Digital Photography. In Introduction to Framing, participants will learn the basic steps to preserve their artwork with framing professional, Willie Evans.  Willie will teach everything from measuring mats to cutting glass.  

In Digital Photography, professional photographer, Arch Cunningham, will assist participants in understanding and using their digital cameras when they are not in the auto mode.  Participants will learn how to adjust the aperture, shutter speed, and F-stop on their SLR cameras.
