ArtsConnect YP “DESIGN MY ARTS CENTER” Kick Off Party

For those with a passion for design, love of the arts, interest in master planning and desire to exercise their creative side… Don’t miss out on this chance to implement your dream arts center.

Support the local arts community and hang with other young professionals at the ArtsConnect YP “Design My Arts Center” Kick Off Party.

Cincinnati area Young Professionals are invited to the event to be held Friday, July 13 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the existing Springfield Township Arts Center, 9150 Winton Road, in Cincinnati. (Located in the building behind the Springfield Township Fire Station.)

Young professionals, (ages 22-39) with an interest in the arts, community building, design and/or architecture in Greater Cincinnati are encouraged to attend this kick off party which will lead to the planning of a completely remodeled arts center in Springfield Township. The celebration will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a very brief history of ArtsConnect’s role in the community and the building’s history as a Senior Center. Then, take a self-guided tour of the center with music and enjoy Cincinnati’s own Gelato by Madisono’s! Taste testing flavors will take place in various rooms with two signature gelato cocktails in the lobby.

Idea walls will be placed throughout the arts center to capture YP’s ideas for new programming and architectural renovation. Guests will leave with invitations for follow up with three creative brainstorming sessions to provide key design input to a renovated arts center that YP’s would want.

Admission for the Design My Arts Center party is free, however registration and tickets are required. Register at www.TheArtsConnect.Us/DesignMyArtsCenter. Companies, especially those with art departments are encouraged to participate as a group.

Two follow up sessions will be scheduled in the months of September and October. Architectural plans are expected to be complete by the end of the year with renovations taking place during the first few months of 2019. YP’s will be engaged throughout the entire process, with an anticipated re-grand opening in the summer of 2019.
