Mobile Printing

Have you been using our MobilePrint Service™?  With this service, you can use your personal computer or mobile device to print to the library’s printers from anywhere. Simply submit documents for printing and come to the library to release and pick up your document.


If your documents are already in your email, the easiest way to print is going to be to forward the email and its attachments to us.


Email from any device directly to the library’s print system at:

Within 24 hours, visit the library’s circulation desk and ask the staff member at the desk to release your print job, providing them with the email address you supplied.*


* Please note that the body of the email will also print out, along with the attachments.  Also, all items will print out in portrait format.  There is no way to print out the items in landscape format from this option.

How to print from a laptop or desktop computer at home or work:

  • You can email the files directly to us at the appropriate email address above.
    -or-
  • Visiting our website at http://www.marioncopublic.org and clicking on the Mobile Printing icon on the right hand side of the webpage (just under our calendar).
  • Select the appropriate printer and enter your email address.
  • Browse your computer to find and select the file you wish to print.
  • Click the green print icon (you will see the status of your print job and a reference number).

Within 24 hours, visit the library’s circulation desk and ask the staff member at the desk to release your print job, providing them with the email address you supplied.

How to print from tablet or smartphone app:

  • You can email the files directly to us at the appropriate email address above.
    -or-

  • Visit your device’s ‘store’ for apps, install and launch the PrinterOn App.
  • If this is the first time you have used the app, click “No printer selected.”
  • Click on the magnifying glass in the lower right hand corner. Search for our library by using the zip code “40033.”
  • Click on the printer you need and save.

To print:

  • Documents: when viewing the document, click in the upper right corner and upload the document to the PrinterOn App.
  • Photos from your phone: open the app, click on “photo” and select a photo to print.
  • Select the printer and click the print icon.
  • Enter an email address and click on the check mark (you will receive a notice that the job started, and shortly after another message stating “Job Success”).

Within 24 hours, visit the library’s circulation desk and ask the staff member at the desk to release your print job, providing them with the email address you supplied.
